Prof. K.E. Devanathan has assumed the office of the Vice-Chancllor on 20-02-2014 at 10.20 A.M. The University Registrar, Deans, Teaching and Non-Teaching staff members of the University have welcomed the new Vice-Chancellor with Poorna Kumbha. The Registrar of the University Dr. A. Vijayakumar has welcomed Prof. K.E. Devanathan to the office of the Vice-Chancellor. Later the new Vice-Chancellor has addressed the teaching and non-teaching staff of the University. He interacted with all staff members and enquired about their problems related to teaching and research. He told that becoming the Vice-Chancellor to this prestigious University is only the will of his almighty the Lord Venkateswara. He assured that he will work together with the staff members of the University and Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams for the multifaceted development of the University. He also assured that he will take up the University to the new horizons in teaching, research and publications. Dr. Satyavel Reddy, Registrar of S.V. University and Dr. Umashankar, Registrar of Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha have greeted the new Vice-Chancellor. The eminent scholars and prominent personalities of the city have also greeted the new Vice-Chancellor.
